Christmas is just around the corner and we have some dates for the diary to fire up those festive feelings! All events are free.
Friday 25th November
As the evenings get darker, we want Merchants Way to shine as bright as it does in the day. So, we're dressing the walkway with some twinkling Christmas Lights. The fabulous Christmas Decorators will also be replacing our autumnal leaves display with a lit winter garland on the archway by Pascal Street.
Friday 2nd December 4-7pm
Join us for a festive Friday on Merchants Way. Enjoy some tasty treats from Mission Kitchen's Frankie's Brownies and Tart Tart Quiche to the sounds of seasonal feel-good music from the talented All Star Steel Band. You might even see the Fred & Ginger Christmas Trees from the Bureau of Silly Ideas serving up a surprise performance! Looks can be very deceiving, so be nice to them, if you’re not, mayhem may will ensue - remember Christmas trees have feelings too!
Saturday 3rd December 1-5pm
Nine Elms neighbour World Heart Beat will be opening their alcove and giving free music lessons from their talented student teachers! The Bureau of Silly Ideas will be back with a fun walkabout act called the Magic Christmas Telephone - who could be on the other end of the line...? You can also join in a Floral Mini Ornament-Making Workshop from Harriet Parry Flowers and make your own decorations to take home with you.
Artist Luke Walker will be hosting a 'meet the artist' in front of his Battersea skyline mural in our South Alcove, and local poet Hilaire will also be there to discuss as things literature, plus don't miss the artwork still on display by Ian Wornst.
Fancy yourself on Strictly Come Dancing? Well join Flow Dance Studio will be presenting a Ballroom & Latin performance by their team of teachers for you to try from 3:30pm!
