The Potting Shed Springs Into Action

The Potting Shed Springs Into ActionThe Nine Elms Gardening Club at The Rose Centre is back!

The Potting Shed Programme, which helps to teach local schools and community groups about sustainable gardening and food production, is due to re-launch on Wednesday 29 March.

Designed to get participants hands on and learn about the area’s rich horticultural heritage alongside experienced horticultural experts, the club which is free to join will help to shape, grow and maintain the garden of Wandsworth Council’s Rose Community Centre, continuing the fantastic work of the club who met each week from July to October last year.

The project is a joint effort between developer VINCI St. Modwen (VSM), Covent Garden Market Authrity (CGMA) and Wandsworth Council, all members of the Nine Elms Vauxhall Partnership, with the help of local volunteers.
