EVENT: Pot it Up! A new Edible Avenue for Thessaly RoadEVENT: Pot it Up! A new Edible Avenue for Thessaly Road

Pot it Up! @ St George’s School, SW8 4JS
Saturday 21 May, 11am - 2pm

On Saturday 21 May we held our first community involvement event: POT IT UP at St. George’s School in partnership with the Chelsea Fringe festival. People of all ages came along to get their hands dirty in the first part of our exciting Edible Avenue project for Thessaly Road.

They potted up young herbs to take away and nuture, as well as found out much more about our exciting transformation of New Covent Garden.

Developers VINCI St. Modwen are working with the Edible Bus Stop to improve spaces around New Covent Garden market for the benefit of the existing community and to reflect the transformation that is happening in and around the market.

The market wall along Thessaly Road will be transformed into an Edible Avenue with fresh produce and planting.
