VINCI St. Modwen, in partnership with the Covent Garden Market Authority, invites you to relive memories of New Covent Garden Market and see how new memories are being created in the Market that has been feeding and flowering London for centuries.

As the market enters a new stage of evolution join us to celebrate its continuing significance and impact in an event for the 2017 London Festival of Architecture featuring a screening of short films, talks and a panel discussion to rediscover the past and unveil the future of the market and its place at the heart of Nine Elms.

Get a flavour of the Market at this one-night-only screening where award winning Battersea-based filmmakers, Chocolate Films, will reveal unique stories of the community, the people and the place that they have captured.

The panel discussion will feature architects past and present, market people, developers and renowned photographer Clive Bournsell who has chronicled the Market’s evolution for over four decades.

This event is free but guests are asked to register a place in advance. To sign up please visit our Eventbrite page.

Doors open from 5:45pm. The event is presented and sponsored by VINCI St. Modwen in partnership with the Covent Garden Market Authority. This event is part of the 2017 London Festival of Architecture.
